Conditional sentences:

To talk about things that are possible, you often use if in a sentence. A sentence with if is called a conditional sentence. Here is an example of a conditional sentence with if-clause. 1- if it rains tomorrow, we shall not go to the beach 🏝️  2-In if clause, use a verb in the simple present tense. In the main clause, use shall or will and an infinitive.  Examples: 1-If there’s no rice in the cupboard, we’ll buy some more. 2-If we don’t work hard, we’ll never learn. 3-If we leave now, we’ll arrive on time. 3-You may also put the main clause before the if-clause: Examples: 1- we’ll play indoors if it rains.  2- You’ll get sick if you don’t eat good food 🥘  3-Jenna will do well in her piano recital if she practice regularly. Compound sentences:

  A compound sentence contains two clauses joined by a conjunction such as and, or, but or so. Simple sentences:

 Simple sentences: A sentence that consists of one clause ( One subject and one verb) is called: Simple sentence. It also may have a modifier and an object. Sentences with no object:

 Some verbs don’t have an object. A verb that doesn’t have an object is called an intransitive verb.
