People are more aware of mental health and wellbeing. It’s not as taboo to talk about stress or anxiety anymore.  


The cost of living has increased, so many young adults live with their parents longer.  


There’s a growing trend of young people starting small online businesses or working as freelancers.


Culture & generations:


The generation gap is still there, but teenagers and parents get along better because they share social media.  


In the last 10 years, my society has changed quite a lot. First of all, there’s been a huge rise in technology. Most people now use social media to keep in touch, and even the elderly use WhatsApp. Another change is that the cost of living has gone up, so it’s common to live with your parents until you’re older. People are also more aware of mental health issues, and it’s not a taboo topic anymore. Overall, I think society is more connected, but also more expensive.
